HUMBOLDT STATE UNIVERSITY
Stategic Planning Workshops
Graphically recorded community and campus workshops, engaging the thinking of over 300 people. Visually mapped the ideas, linkages, and connections between people's visions for HSU's future.
CITY OF TRINIDAD
Community Goal-Setting
Worked with city staff to design and facilitate a community input and prioritization process. Engaged residents to identify their prioritiesin the areas of safety, public infrastructure, fiscal stability, community engagement and environmental sustainability. The results helped the City develop the next year's budget and project priorities.
HUMBOLDT AREA FOUNDATION
Community Listening Campaign
Designed and led a listening campaign, with staff and board members speaking one-on-one with over 70 community leaders to learn about barriers to community engagement and civic participation. The findings drove the development of programmatic work to support more inclusive decision-making processes and community-led change.
HUMBOLDT STATE UNIVERSITY
Strategic Communications & Marketing
Facilitated rebranding processes for several academic degree and certificate programs. Supported stakeholders to identify intended audiences, program strengths, and value propositions. Designed and implemented strategic marketing and communication plans.
HUMBOLDT BAY MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
Water Resource Planning Process
Supported the District to complete a robust, community-based planning process over a 15-month period to address how best to put the District's unused water to beneficial use. Recorded for dozens of meetings of the Advisory Committee, Citizen's Study Group and during public meetings that engaged over 400 people.
WARRIOR INSTITUTE
Vision Setting & Graphic Recording
Recorded visioning sessions and produced graphic maps for the Institute to use for organizational planning, volunteer recruitment, outreach, and education.
GRAPHIC RECORDING WORKSHOPS
Lead graphic recording workshops with Cascadia Center for Leadership, Humboldt State University's Leading Organizational & Community Change Certificate Program, and in-house for organizations.
SIX RIVERS PLANNED PARENTHOOD
Board of Directors Goal-Setting
Designed and facilitated goal-setting and planning session with the Board, Executive Director and senior staff.
